We have learned that the American Suzuki amateur motocross support program has officially been discontinued. Cole Gress, the Motocross Support Manager wrote a letter to team sponsors stating that the program is officially over.
"As of December 1, 2008 American Suzuki will no longer support an amateur motocross support team," wrote Gress. "Thank you for all of your generous support over the years. Together we were able to produce a powerful and respected program."
The economy has put a squeeze on Suzuki and they have had to make deep budget cuts to sure up their solvency for the future, this unfortunately has come at the cost of the amateur support program.
